Parallel to her work as a writer and director Nikki also works regularly as a drama teacher, workshop leader and youth theatre practitioner.

 

Over the past seven years Nikki has taught workshops and lead community projects with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, St Columba's Senior School, Horsecross Arts, Visible Fictions, Macrobert Arts Centre, Impact Arts, Royal Lyceum, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Edinburgh Science and Strange Town Youth Theatre.

Nikki has worked with community groups and young people from a diverse range of ages and backgrounds. She prides herself in putting creativity, self expression and storytelling at the centre of all her work.

Nikki has led on the creation on both devised theatre pieces and adaptions of classic stories. Her most recent credits include; Hamlet (Maybe, Kinda, Almost) with Perth Youth Theatre and Little Women with St Columba's Senior School Between the Lines Youth Theatre Company.

Nikki also runs one-off skills workshops in physical theatre, puppetry, directing and creative writing.
